Social media is where most of us now reside, glued to our phones, scrolling aimlessly through feeds, consuming information differently. It’s an ever-changing realm of possibilities available for those who want it. Plus, it’s always great stumbling upon an aesthetically pleasing feed and a bonus if the owner’s content is honest, thought-provoking or funny. The concept of influencers or content creators is still relatively new on this island, and while many are still trying to find their footing (no easy task, mind you), some have figured it out. Ultimately, what’s important to remember is not placing a high value on follower count or the number of likes per post, but on the quality of the content and engagement generated.
