Written during a time when China was a mosaic of different principles and ambitions, Suntzu put war tactics and strategies in words, spelling out when to go to war, what to do and what not to do while at war, and how to treat one’s enemy if victory is the ultimate goal.

The Japanese applied these war strategies more than the Chinese where generations of soldiers swore by Sunzi and Wutzu. Captain E.F.
