This is in evidence in this year’s edition of the Forbes World’s Billionaires list that we present in this issue. The list, the most definitive listing of the wealthiest people on the planet, has 1,810 billionaires, down from 1,826 in 2015. The number of Indian billionaires at 84 is six less than last year and their aggregate wealth, at $248.4 billion, is nearly $46 billion lower.
