We have come a long way since our apprehensions of Y2K and and the Mayan calendar’s “End of the world”. The fear of the unknown is mankind’s test of faith. The New Year brings with it also a new hope, new aspirations, and new avenues. It is another opportune for us to make good, and leave behind the encumbrances of the past.

You won’t be able to ignore the rise of new stars and fresh faces, fitting then that our cover Girl is none other than Bindhu Madhavi, the new star on the block, with a girl next door image she brightens up every character she has played in her recent hits .She can with ease portray roles that can take her from glamorous to gritty, and from perfect to perfectly messed up. Speaking of new aspiration I must say that the New Year did start for me with meeting the awe inspiring divas Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla, as we made our first collaboration with a Bollywood movie, being the first magazine to do so from the south.
