Despite long-term capital gains tax (LTCG) on mutual funds, they still remain a good bet for investors as a diversified portfolio can easily offset the tax outgo. On the whole, the budget doesn’t have the luxury of being a blockbuster nor the vision of a grand plan to set new paradigms.
