न्यायप्रिय शनिदेव

शनि सौरमण्डल का सबसे दूरस्थ ग्रह है, जो सूर्य से 88.6 करोड़ मील दूर है। 29.5 वर्ष में यह सूर्य का एक चक्कर लगाता है। इसके चारों ओर 93 उपग्रह चक्कर लगाते हैं। शनि ग्रह के चारों ओर छोटे-छोटे कणों का एक छल्ला दिखाई देता है, मानो शनि ने अंगूठी पहन रखी हो। इसलिए शनि वलयाकार ग्रह है। सूर्य से काफी दूर होने से यह अति ठण्डा ग्रह है। सूर्य का थोड़ा-सा प्रकाश यहाँ पहुँच पाता है।
