With a year come and gone, yet another chapter has been flipped over in the pages of history. And while it is important to look towards the future and aim for it, it is also important to remember the past that has shaped us. This was the theme behind our cover story exploring the ‘oldest’ and the ‘youngest’ sectors that have shaped and laid the building blocks of our state.

This issues of FWD Business brings with it a sense of nostalgia as we look back into the years gone by. Kerala has long been associated with many iconic imageries, from elephants and the Nehru Trophy snake boat race in Alappuzha to the tea pickers in Munnar. Yet one image that is much closer to our hearts is that of the Chaayakada. They say that you could find a 'Chetan‘s Chaayakada’ in any part of the world.
