The June issue of insite gives an insight into the journey and the winners of the IIID Design Excellence Awards. Tanjua B. K in the lead story explains the nine months of exhaustive planning and process of IIID Design Excellence Awards. This is followed by the winners who have received awards in various categories. The article 'Vaanar Sena in Sri Lanka' by Niraj shah describes the journey of the IIID fraternity in Sri Lanka during the award ceremony. The sketches done by Pratyush Shankar during the Sri Lanka visit are featured in this issue as well. It also features the IIID Fellow members: Architect Hari Agashe and Architect Dulal Mukherjee. Riyaz Tyabji writes about Balkrishna V.Doshi as the storyteller of his architectural generation in his article,'The story and the storyteller'.
