My nurse, my angel

Woman's World reader Michelle Hains was on the brink of death. But after she prayed, God sent an angel to help give her hope. She writes:

While on a trip visiting my sister, I started feeling short of breath.

My breathing grew steadily worse until every breath was labored.

At home in Connecticut, a PET scan at the hospital revealed the devastating diagnosis—lung cancer. Several tumors were discovered in both lungs, and an oncologist recommended surgery, where they removed portions of both my lungs. However, I remained weak and still struggled to breathe. I'd contracted pneumonia, and my condition suddenly worsened. The fever spiked, and I couldn't get out of bed.
