His lemonade stands have raised $51,000!

When this Henry Bryant donated his lemonade stand earnings to help a sick shelter dog, he never imagined his kindness would come full circle-just when he and his own furry friend needed it most!

"It makes me feel good to help so many shelter pets," says Henry, now 9 years old

Henry Bryant, 6, sat crosslegged on his living room floor, his chocolate Lab, Mr. Pickles, beside him.

As the evening news played, he and his mom tallied the earnings from the lemonade stand he'd held that day.

"$202!" announced his mom, Shelley Lambert. "What are you going to buy?" she asked, expecting her son to want a new video game or toy. But just then, the news showed a heartbreaking story about a dog rescued from a hotel room.

Henry's smile faded. "I'm going to give it all to that shelter," he said quietly. "So they can help that dog and others." Touched, Shelley called the Wyandotte Animal Shelter, and the next day, Henry handed the shelter director his donation.
