I'm on the balcony of a high-rise holiday apartment I've specifically chosen for its uninterrupted views and handy location. I love the high life. Good choice, Bernardo!

But then I look down and spot the holiday park right on the beach, not just in a prime position but in THE prime position. All its residents have to do is put on their cossies, skip across a green patch of lawn and hey presto, they're having fun. No waiting for a 1980s elevator to drag itself up to level 19. They've got pools, water slides, spas minigolf, glamping tents and more. Note to self: Next time, go for the holiday parks!
