Kate makes a difference

The Princess of Wales has been thanked for helping a young person with cancer to raise awareness of, and more than $200,000 for, the rare disease that took her life.

Last year, Kate met with teenager Liz Hatton shortly after she returned to work after having chemotherapy for her own cancer. Liz had terminal desmoplastic small round cell tumour (DSCRT), an aggressive type of cancer which affects soft tissue.
