"The Corrie Cast Have A Bit Of A Do"

Coronation Street star Jane Danson is looking forward to big Yuletide family gatherings both on screen and off

When her husband Rob caught Covid last year it put a real dampener on Jane Danson's festive family celebrations and of course the year before lockdown meant we all had to make do with a smaller get-together. So this year the Coronation Street actress is determined to push the boat out with a good old knees-up of as many family members as she can muster!

"I'm looking forward to having a bigger Christmas this year, with a lot of family," says Jane, best-known as the cobbles' Leanne Batters by. "It's always a bit chaotic with a lot of family, but that's what Christmas is all about isn't it?

"We haven't worked out the logistics yet, but there'll be 11 of us and my brother-in law is cooking dinner.

"I'm really traditional at Christmas. I like dinner on the table by three o'clock and I love turkey and all the trimmings. Some people do a curry or something alternative, but that wouldn't feel right for me. And I always enjoy a glass of Baileys."
