His contribution to Bollywood film music however, will never be forgotten. A regular of the B R Chopra camp, Ravi gave music to several successful films like Waqt, Gumrah, Aadmi aur Insaan, Kaajal, Chaudvin ka Chand etc. In this article, we look back at the melodious music of ‘Do Badan’, a film directed by Raj Khosla and starring Asha Parekh, Manoj Kumar, Simi and Pran. Shakeel wrote the meaningful lyrics to Ravi’s tunes.
