The OnePlus Nord 5 makes an entrance - premium finish, sleek camera setup, in some clean functional packaging. The OnePlus Nord 5, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, delivering flagship-grade performance. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth interactions. The device comes with LPDDR5X RAM (up to 12GB) and UFS 3.1 storage (up to 512GB). Inside the box, it's paired with a 7,300mm² vapor chamber and graphene cooling for sustained performance during intensive tasks like gaming at 144fps. The sleek design, with a glass back and plastic frame, weighs around 211g and includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and a customizable "Plus Key" for Al features, similar to the ones on flagship OnePlus phones.

The phone itself carries a noticeable weight increase. Not enough to drag it down, but enough to set it apart from its predecessor. In hand, it feels confident and well-made, though perhaps not quite as effortlessly fluid as the old Nord 3. Between the Nord 3 and 5 you would tend to see truly noticeable improvements, but not so much with Nord 4. So if you are already in the Nord ecosystem with anything older than Nord 4, this would be the perfect time to upgrade.
