A secure backup solution that teams up unlimited device support with MS365 protection at a good price

Best known for its highly respected NAS appliances, Synology also offers a range of cloud backup solutions. C2 Backup for Business provides simple, easily deployed cloud backup and data recovery services with no on-premises hardware requirements.

The starting price of £423 per year gets you a big 5TB chunk of cloud storage, with 1TB increments costing a further £101 per year. It supports unlimited Windows and macOS devices and includes cloud-to-cloud (C2C) backup services for all four Microsoft 365 (MS365) components, with the Business plan protecting up to 250 users and 50 teams.

During account setup, you select a Synology data centre and enter a unique domain name, which provides secure access to users of the backup service. Next, you enter an encryption key to authenticate access to all Synology C2 cloud services.
