What’s the height of Star Wars storytelling? The original trilogy? Ha, simplistic space cowboy nonsense that rips off Kurosawa shamelessly.

The prequels? Surprisingly ambitious storytelling, if not particularly well executed. The sequel trilogy? A horrible car crash where all subtlety has been slain. No, the truth is, and always has been, the Knights of the Old Republic series of games. Why? Mature storytelling partnered with uncompromising ideological challenge.
