SNARL is a horror game with bite

Beyond Booleans has released some excellent adventure games over the last few years. I reviewed Teeth of Glass last year, and now a prequel has arrived in Snarl, which tells a new tale of cosmic horror featuring the monstrous ‘gray man’ and his mouth full of jagged glass teeth. He’s not a guy you want to mess with, as he can tear you apart with a flick of his hand.

Snarl takes place in the 1970s, which was already horrific enough without a demon’s involvement. The game begins with two detectives in a diner, who spring to life when a father and son stumble through the doors. The dad has been injured, and there’s a creepy figure standing outside the diner. When one of the detectives goes to investigate, the figure explains that he wants the boy, before revealing his horrid glass teeth and demonstrating that he means business.
