Thomson has launched its Smart TV Masterclass Series 2025 Edition, featuring the TH65QDMini1022, a 65-inch Ultra HD 4K Mini LED Google TV priced at around ₹61,999.

This model offers premium features like Mini LED backlighting, peak brightness of 1500 nits, Dolby Vision HDR support, and an 108W audio system, making advanced display technology more accessible. We've spent several weeks testing the TV through binge-watching, gaming sessions, and everyday streaming to evaluate its performance.

DESIGN & BUILD

First impressions matter, and the TH65QDMini1022 excels with its near-bezel-less design and 164 cm (65-inch) panel, offering a stunning edge-to-edge viewing experience. The matte black finish and subtle Thomson branding add elegance, making it a great fit for modern living rooms. Weighing about 20 kg, it's sturdy but manageable for two people during setup.

The back features an array of eight speakers, including a dedicated subwoofer, giving it a premium feel despite the mix of plastic and metal accents that resist fingerprints.

However, setup wasn't entirely smooth; wall-mounting was tricky as the included mount didn't align well with the manual's illustrations. It took around 45 minutes of trial-and-error with a drill to secure it properly. Once mounted, the TV transformed our space into a cinematic haven.
