PRO DREAM EDITION

As a massive F1 fan, I didn't expect a smartphone to spark the same excitement as a race weekend. The moment I saw the Realme GT 8 Pro Dream Edition in its Aston Martin theme, it happened. Yes, I support Red Bull ironically, but the design was too striking to ignore. The moment I unboxed it, the motorsport DNA was undeniable.

DESIGN & BUILD: A DEVICE WITH RACING SOUL

The first thing that hits you is the finish. That deep racing green with its metallic shift instantly feels premium, almost like holding a scaled-down fragment of an actual F1 machine. The curves, the sharp detailing, and the subtle lines form a design language that confidently screams motorsport elegance. In hand, the build feels solid and well-balanced. Nothing about it comes off as flimsy or overdone. The exterior is genuinely the star of the show. It is unique without being loud, stylish without losing its sporty identity.

The in-device design, however, feels disconnected. The themed UI and racing animations do not match the level of refinement the exterior promises. The hardware feels Aston Martin, while the software feels more like a promo skin. As an object, though, the phone is something I enjoy looking at every time it is on my table.
