USING LOCALSEND FOR LOCAL FILE TRANSFERS

LocalSend is a free, open-source, cross-platform app that enables fast and secure file transfers over a local WiFi network, eliminating the need for an internet connection. It's an excellent choice for transferring files, such as photos, videos, and documents, between Android and iPhone devices. Here's how to use it:

Install LocalSend: Download and install LocalSend from the Google Play Store on your Android device and the App Store on your iPhone. Ensure both devices are connected to the same WiFi network.

Open the App: Launch LocalSend on both devices. The app will automatically detect nearby devices, assigning them quirky names like "Neat Blueberry" (you can rename them in settings for clarity).

Select Files on Android: On your Android device, go to the "Send" tab, choose "File" or "Media," and select the items you wish to transfer. Tap "Select" to confirm your choices.
