NDLOVU DOUBLE WRAPS UP DERBY

BOREHAM WOOD are among the pace-setters with two straight wins, while Chesham are adjusting to life following promotion from the Southern League.

Goals at the start of each half from striker Lee Ndlovu effectively decided the outcome, although Chesham did pull a goal back in stoppage time.

Boreham Wood’s manager Ross Jenkins said: “Chesham made it difficult for us in the second half, but we should have taken our chances in the first half. However overall we are delighted with the three points’.

Chesham joint manager Michael Murray said: “We need to be a bit more clinical at both ends of the pitch, and we conceded goals at the start of each half. However we came back well and if we had taken one of our chances we could have made it interesting late on.”
