Chris Millington's men failed to score for the fourth game running to leave their play-off hopes in serious jeopardy.

The Shaymen still lie fifth, four points inside the top seven, but with sides showing form below them, they will need to find their feet soon.

Reyes Cleary's 41st-minute strike saw them go empty-handed here as Hartlepool United took all three points back to County Durham in an otherwise dull affair.

And Millington said: "I am disappointed, two factors have influenced the result. Some questionable refereeing, which didn't help us, and them sitting in at 1-0 up and us failing to break them down."
