CENTRE-BACK Finn O’Mara says he will miss playing alongside “machine” player-boss Jamie Coyle in the heart of Whitstable Town’s defence next season — but wants to carry on playing under him!
The 26-year-old believes Coyle will remain at the Southern Counties East League Oystermen next season, espe-cially with unfinished business to be taken care of.
Whitstable were beaten in their league play-off semi-final by Fisher on penalties, and also lost in the final of the Kent Senior Trophy to Larkfield & New Hythe. O’Mara admits that double disap-pointment was on the players’ minds as they prepared to walk out at Wembley.
