READY FOR A BLACK RUN
Official partner of the International Ski Federation (FIS), Longines launched a chronograph under its Conquest collection to commemorate the 48th FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in 2025. The Conquest Chrono Ski Edition, a limited edition of 2,025 timepieces, is powered by the exclusive Longines L898.5 calibre with a silicon balance-spring and components with optimum resistance to magnetic fields. Clocking in at a sporty 42mm, the stainless steel case houses a chronograph that is water-resistant to 10 bar. Identifiers of this limited edition release are the emblem of a skier on the caseback along with the inscription “Saalbach 2025 – FIS Alpine World Championships”. Perhaps as a nod to the most challenging of slopes – the black runs – the timepiece features an anthracite dial contrasting with a black, small seconds subdial at 3 o’clock and black counters at 6 and 9 o'clock. Wearers can choose either a stainless steel bracelet or a black rubber strap to complement their style on or off the slopes.
