Belgium’s Sylvère Maes quenches his thirst after winning an evidently rather wet stage 15 of the 1935 Tour de France, running from Perpignan to Luchon and over the Col de Portet d’Aspet.

Riding as an 'Individual' entrant, Maes went on to finish fourth overall, with his younger, unrelated namesake Romain Maes taking the win for team Belgium.
