As pro cyclists we really get looked after well. I sometimes think it's like being a horse. Well, a slightly more intelligent one.

It's been a long season but for me it's always nice to have a preand post-race massage. I think the jury is still out on whether or not it actually makes a difference. I know some more old-school riders and sports directors that swear by it and others that are not so fussed.
In a Grand Tour you'll end up doing a whole 24 hours on the table. There's not so much chat come week three.
At one-day races there's more time to appreciate it.
