Muc-Off's inflator gets an LCD screen

On the whole, the AirMach Electric Mini Pro is a genuinely impressive bit of kit. It's compact enough to fit comfortably in most jersey pockets, and I've found myself reaching for it over my usual minipump. The convenience of not having to wrestle with a manual pump on the roadside, especially in poor weather or fading light, is a real advantage. It inflates tyres quickly and is especially handy for tubeless set-ups, where small pressure losses are common. Being able to check tyre pressure pre-ride and add a few PSI with minimal fuss has made it a go-to tool. It also means you can dial in your preferred pressure accurately, which is a big plus for performance and comfort.

Battery life has been excellent. While Muc-Off claims up to four tyre inflations per charge, I've been charging it roughly once a week to be safe. This includes topping up around six tyres and dealing with one puncture.

The LCD screen is bright and easy to read, and the simple control system makes operation intuitive. That said, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The valve head gets hot during inflation, so a bit of caution is needed, and the operation button can stick slightly, which makes it feel a little cheap, but it's far from a deal breaker.
