After a disappointing Indian Premier League 2024 season, 2022 edition winners Gujarat Titans, under the leadership of Shubman Gill, will be hoping to make a statement in the upcoming IPL 2025 season. GT had a decent mega auction held on November 26 and 27 respectively in Jeddah. Before that, they retained 5 players. Overall, GT are an interesting side with quality players in the ranks. One expects the Titans to do a reasonable job in the upcoming season.

However, GT had different ideas. At the auction, the solid buys for GT were the likes of Jos Buttler and Kagiso Rabada for a handsome chunk of money. A lot of money was also spent on acquiring Indian pacers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna. Some valuable foreign names such as Gerald Coetzee, Glenn Phillips and Karim Janat were added. GT have most of their bases covered and this looks well for the 2022 champions.
