THIS MONTH IN APRIL 1994

In 1994, for a brief moment in time, the CD32 felt like the future. Amiga owners were dreaming of a next-gen revival, with the CD32 promising AGA power and the vast storage space of CD. The system's first coverdiscs were spectacular, with the sheer breadth of CD content feeling revolutionary. Music, books and art all sat alongside oodles of games.

Sadly, by the end of April Commodore was bankrupt and the Amiga would fall by the wayside with it, its limited power no match for the soon to launch 5th generation consoles. It was over, but it had been fun while it lasted.
