Yorkshire marksman Charlie Manby’s impressive run at his debut World Darts Championship ended in the fourth round when he was beaten 4-1 in sets by Dutch ace Gian van Veen
Manby had the consolation of £60,000 prize money following his wins over Cameron Menzies, Adam Sevada and Ricky Evans, but the 10th seed proved too strong.
