Teenage fighters display their skills at Bad Company show

Eighty amateur Thai boxers from across the north competed in 43 bouts on Leeds gym Bad Company's show at Headingley's Queenswood Social Club with two teenagers particularly delighted at winning.

"I'm 16 now and this was my first bout without body protection," said Nathan Hodgson. "I'm still wearing a headguard along with shin and elbow pads. In this latest fight I could punch and kick to the head but not use elbows. That's reserved for professional fighters."
