Rhinos star Connor reveals his pride after lifting 2025 Man of Steel award

Leeds Rhinos ace Jake Connor has won Super League's top individual honour.
The scrumhalf, who joined Rhinos from Huddersfield Giants in preseason, was named Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel. He is only the fifth Leeds player to win the award in its 48-year history, after David Ward (1977), Garry Schofield (1991), Iestyn Harris (1998) and Zak Hardaker (2015).
The Man of Steel trophy is determined by a panel of former players who award points after every match in the regular season, Connor was one of three Leeds players honoured at rugby league's awards night at Deansgate Hilton in Manchester.
"It's a whirlwind of emotions," said Connor, after receiving the award.
"I'm proud. It's a special honour. I'm lost for words and it hasn't quite sunk in yet."
