Overnight road closures see bus services divert

A busy route in central Leeds is close for four nights.

Cemetery Road and Top Moor Side in Holbeck will both be shut for bridge inspection works from now until Friday between 8pm and 5am. Bus services 55C, 74 and 75 will divert in both directions.

Middleton Railway back on track
Final preparations were in full swing as Middleton Railway in Leeds opened for the season. Run entirely by volunteers, it is recognised as the world's oldest continuously working railway. The historical railway was back on track as it re-opened its doors on Easter Sunday, with its first locomotive of the year transporting curious visitors along the 260-year-old track.
