Licence bid for Wetherby 'Spoons

Pub chain JD Wetherspoon hopes to secure a licence to open a new ale house in a market town near Leeds.

The company has sought permission from the council to sell alcohol until 1am at weekends at its new venue in High Street in Wetherby.

Wetherspoon’s bought the former Sant Angelo restaurant, also known as the Angel, in 2022.
