James could be facing spell on the sidelines after new injury blow

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has revealed that Dan James suffered a hamstring injury in Saturday’s defeat at Manchester City and fears the winger might be out for a while.

Wales international star James was handed his first start since returning from an ankle injury in Saturday’s clash at the Etihad but the 28-year-old was one of two players brought off at the break as Farke changed his system.

James and fellow winger Willy Gnonto were both taken off as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jaka Bijol were introduced as part of a shift to a 3-5-2 system which triggered a stirring second half comeback.
