Pupils will be taught in new classrooms after housing developers paid almost £720,000 to help with school improvements.

A 37-year-old building at Manston Primary School in east Leeds will be replaced after Leeds City Council received the funds.

The council said 60 children were at risk of being displaced because of issues with a building at the school in Dennil Road.

The cash will be allocated from contributions made by companies behind housing developments at nearby Manston Lane.
