THOUSANDS of people took to the streets of London on Saturday 13 September to protest about immigration, culture and identity.

The Unite the Kingdom protest passed the Houses of Parliament

The event, called Unite the Kingdom, was organised by far-right campaigner Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. More than 100,000 people are thought to have taken part.

But the protest led to violence and arrests. It’s made many people ask: what are the rules about protesting and free speech in the UK? Can you say what you like?
