The Karnal police have reopened the investigation into a case involving an alleged sexual assault of a woman who had come to the city for domestic work through a service agency. The inquiry was revived after the matter came under the notice of the National Commission for Women (NCW) and the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST).
