Ownership Rights to Households of Haibowal Khurd and Rajpura Basti given

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora today conferred proprietary rights to 61 households of Haibowal Khurd (40) and Rajpura Basti near DMC Hospital (21) under the “Mera Ghar Mere Naam” scheme.
The property certificates were distributed at a special event held at Senior Citizen Home, Haibowal Khurd(wardnumber 61).
Congratulating the beneficiaries, Arora termed it a significant step toward empowering residents living within the Lal Lakir. He described the initiative as a landmark move aimed at resolving longstanding property ownership issues in Haibowal Khurd and Rajpura Basti. Residents of these areas were demanding legal ownership of their homes for about 30 years.
