Future talks with Pakistan only on PoK, terror: Modi

India will brook no discussion with Pakistan on the Jammu and Kashmir issue except to demand the return of Pak-occupied Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Monday night in his first address to the nation since a ceasefire halted the nearly 100-hour military conflict with Pakistan.
In his speech the Prime Minister hailed the bravery of the Indian armed forces and lamented the barbarity of the attack in Pahalgam. Mr Modi grieved for the 26 killed in the attack, many of whom were civilians, and said the terrorists' viciousness warranted "strong action" against those responsible.
"On May 7 the world saw this resolution turn into action. We struck their training centres... they never thought India would strike them. But when Indian missiles and drones hit Pakistan, the foundation of these terrorist groups was shaken... they wiped sindoor off our sisters... we wiped out their centres."
