BSP state president Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri strongly condemned the police action against Dalit labourers in the case of 930 acres of land in Sohian village of Sangrur district.
He called the Punjab government an oppressive government and called it a feudal action taken in connivance with the police machinery. He said that for thousands of years the only fault of the landless people of this village was that they wanted ownership rights of this 930 acres of land and 2000 policemen came and tortured them, arrested them.
