'Proud' Miller sparkles on first Scotland start

Motherwell star Lennon Miller admitted he was bursting with pride after making his first start for his country and providing an assist in last week's 4-0 win in Liechtenstein.

The 18-year-old Wishaw ace earned his second Scotland cap in Vaduz on June 9 after making his debut in a 3-1 defeat at home to Iceland on June 6.

And he made a big impression, setting up Che Adams for the second goal of his hat-trick on a night George Hirst also got in on the act with his first Scotland goal. Miller will hope he has done enough to show boss Steve Clarke he can be a key player when the World Cup qualifiers kick-off in September away to Denmark and he was delighted with his first start in the Dark Blue.
