Praise for the vital work of hospice teams

North Lanarkshire Council honoured last week's Hospice Care Week 2025.

This year's theme was "Hospice care is more than you think", which aimed to challenge perceptions and highlight the breadth of support available to people with life-limiting illnesses.

The national campaign, led by Hospice UK, seeks to raise awareness of the vital role hospices play, not only within dedicated facilities but also in homes and communities across the country.
