Body of graduate never recovered, inquest told

A YOUNG man who went missing in Cornwall is thought to have taken his own life along the coast despite his body never being found, an inquest has heard.

Robin Willis’ last known phone location was at a clifftop near the Porthcurno area on January 10, 2024.

An inquest into the 24-year-old’s death, held at Truro Coroner's Court heard that despite extensive searches carried out by the police, coastguard and RNLI, Robin's body was never recovered. However, a yellow and black duffel bag, which was found lodged between rocks near the clifftop, contained Robin's belongings, including a note to his family.
