A former Women's Institute hall in St Austell and a former church building near Helston attracted attention before selling at auction at the beginning of May.

Cornwall Council instructed the sale of the detached former Women’s Institute hall in Robartes Gardens, St Austell. With a total floor area of 66 sq m, the hall has a principal room, kitchen, store room and cloakroom with WC.

The property was among 168 lots in the third sale of 2025 held by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers and had a freehold guide of £25,000 to £30,000. It sold for £35,000 at the auction.
