Work on amphitheatre nearing to completion

Works are well under way to build an eye-catching new sail-shaped big top style canopy at the location, opposite the leisure centre in Swansea, that will see the venue transformed for performers and audiences.Andrew Scott Limited has moved in to deliver the upgrades on behalf of Swansea council which will also see improvements to the steps, new handrails and a mains power supply fitted.

The sail-type canopy will cover the stage area at the base of the amphitheatre and the first six rows, so that audiences will continue to enjoy the venue's outdoor feel while performers will be sheltered from the weather.
