TWO further arrests have been made during the investigation into the alleged murder of former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins.

Two inmates were charged with murder after Watkins was pronounced dead at HMP Wakefield on October 11.

West Yorkshire Police yesterday said two men, aged 23 and 39, have been arrested from the jail on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

The force said both men are in police custody and will be interviewed then bailed and returned to prison while inquiries continue.

Watkins, 28, was pronounced dead on Saturday, October 11, after being found with serious injuries. The former singer, from Pontypridd, was serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences.
