Scottish fightback hits Welsh ranking

WALES have suffered another drop in rugby's world rankings.
-
Steve Tandy’s side are now down to 12th in the standings, having fallen below Japan after their Six Nations defeat to Scotland on Saturday.
Wales came close to ending their dismal losing run in the tournament - which is rapidly approaching the three-year mark - after opening up a 17-5 advantage at the interval thanks to tries by Rhys Carre and Josh Adams.
But a Finn Russell-inspired Scottish comeback after the break saw them edge ahead of the hosts in the 75th minute to claim a 26-23 victory.
Wales lost 0.61 ranking points as a result of their defeat, which is why they have been overtaken by Japan.
