Report's findings shed light on dedication of care workforce

AFEW weeks ago, Care Inspectorate Wales’ chief inspector published her annual report for 2024 to 2025, revealing that most of the care provided in Wales is good.

‘The inspectorate registers, inspects and takes action to improve the quality of social care, early years and childcare services.

According to the report, 84% of adult social care services, 78% of children’s services and 80% of childcare and play services were rated “good” or “excellent”

‘he findings are hugely positive, but I wasn’t surprised because we already know from our work that most care provided in Wales is good.

‘There is a strong commitment to improving services, and we recently worked with Care Inspectorate Wales to further strengthen services with a positive cultures guide.
